Our Process
Preliminary Proposal
Organizations interested in funding begin by submitting a brief two-page preliminary proposal. This allows the Foundation to review requests at a high level and respond quickly regarding potential alignment with current funding priorities.
Formal Grant Application
Organizations selected to move forward will be invited to submit a full grant application for Board review. An invitation to apply does not guarantee funding.
How Decisions Are Made.
All funding decisions are made collectively by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and are communicated in writing. Due to the volume of requests received, the Foundation is unable to provide feedback on declined proposals or applications.
Additional Information.
During the review process, the Foundation may request additional information or conduct a site visit.
Timing.
There are no fixed deadlines. Preliminary proposals and grant applications may be requested by the Board throughout the year.
