The Foundation uses a two-step grant process. Organizations must first submit a Preliminary Proposal. Selected organizations may then be invited to submit a formal Grant Application.

Yes. Please do not exceed the space provided in the form. The proposal is intended to provide a concise overview of your organization and funding need.

Organizations should include a list of their Board of Directors or Trustees and contact information when submitting the form.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors reviews all Preliminary Proposals and notifies organizations in writing if they are invited to submit a formal Grant Application.

Formal applications should include:
A cover letter confirming organizational approval of the project
A detailed project proposal
Financial information and supporting documentation
Proof of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
An Application Summary form
Information about organizational leadership and project oversight

Yes. Grant funds must be used only for the purpose(s) outlined in the award letter unless prior written approval is received from the Foundation.

Yes. Organizations receiving grants are required to submit a written report within one year of receiving funding. Additional progress reports may be requested for multi-year grants.

Any funds not used or committed for the approved purpose within the timeframe outlined in the award letter must be returned to the Foundation.
